Alumni Beats the Varsity!

Last Saturday on April 4 at 7 p.m. I attended the Burbank High School Alumni and Varsity Women's softball game at McCambridge Park. The alumni won 7 to 6 in a close game. The varsity did not have a chance once the alumni coached by Chris Jones put in the alumni ace pitcher Debbie Day from the 1976 class softball champions and Burbank High Athletic Hall of Famer. She struck out the side the first two innings she pitched. But some field errors by the alumni caused some runs to be scored to make it a close game. Every one had a good time and Outback Steakhouse supplied dinner for $10.oo.
