Vietnam Traveling Wall in Orange, CA
The Vietnam Traveling Wall is coming to the City of Orange, CA and they are looking for volunteers to help out. Any Burbank High grads that live in the area may want to help out can check the Facebook Page for more information.

Update on Grand View Cemetery
The remodeling is still going on and the cemetery will be opened on Sunday before Memorial Day and Monday Memorial Day from 12 - 4pm.

They had plan on digging out the grass and reseeding but the winter rains made it impossiable to do so they dugged the trenches as they went.
The trees were all trimed and some were removed and the ones that had been cut down before and a stump left, they grounded those down.

A hawk visited the cemetery and I was able to get this one shot before he flew away.
The trees trimed and all the shrubbry cleared and removed along the wall in Section A.

Burbank High Alumni Softball Game
The Burbank High softball program is looking for former players to compete in the organizations annual alumni game. The game will take place at 6 p.m. April 9, 2011 at McCambridge Park field # 2. All softball alumni are welcome to participate or cheer their teammates on. All proceeds from the event will go to help support the Burbank program. Burbank High School Choirs Wins Honors!
Burbank High School Choirs Wins Honors Burbank High School choirs received the highest honors in competition in Fairfield, Ohio in March. In each of their categories, both In Sync and Impressions were named as Grand Champions, the highest award. They brought home trophies and individual medallions for each performer.
In Sync, also topped the 10 other show choirs by receiving "Best Choreography," "Best Vocal Performance," "Best Costumes," and "Best Desighned Set." Impressions also received "Best Vocals' and "Best Choreography."
Choir Director is Brett Carroll and Assisant Choir Director is Donna Dandino. The financial support of community businesses and individuals at the November "Night of Magic" dinner fundraiser provided the funds for the choirs to make the trip. There are more competitions this year, culminating with the "Pop Show" on May 19,20, and 21, which is open to the public.
